The White House finally released the president's long form birth certificate in an attempt to put his “birth” question to rest. White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer noted, “The President believed the distraction over his birth certificate wasn't good for the country. It may have been good politics and good T.V., but it was bad for the American people and distracting from the many challenges we face as a country.” President Obama already released his birth certificate in 2008, but many nonbelievers said the absence of a long form birth certificate was questionable. In recent weeks potential GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has brought these “birth” related questions into the forefront of the media. I guess this ends the discussion.
I saw an interview today about it. Trump is still not happy with the results. It seems like not matter what Obama does, people will find something wrong with it- i guess that's politics?
ReplyDeleteYou're kidding yourself if you think that putting out his long form birth certificate will stop debates. People who don't believe it still will not believe it because brith certificates can be forged, and its all a political ploy to keep aggitating and bringing up facts that in essence are irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteYes it was distracting from the real issues at hand. As soon as Obama put out his fake birth certificate he rushed to tape a show with Oprah, which is perhaps the most pressing issue of all time.
ReplyDeleteSome are already saying that the long form birth certificate is a fake because there is something weird about the number sequence on it. That being said, it was a great way for Obama to discredit Trump... I wonder if Trump is still as confident as he sounds when he is talking about Obama's time at Columbia and Harvard.
ReplyDeleteThe entire issue is simply insane. The man is the president, I wish we would concentrate on real issues. I think this should hurt Trump, instead of trying to debate Obama on critical and pressing issues, Trump focuses on Obama's birth certificate. It is enough already.
